Last week we wrote about October being National Medical Librarians Month, and we included an overview of a medical librarian’s vital role in healthcare written by Mimi Guessferd, a medical librarian at HCA-affiliate Parkland Medical Center in Derry, N.H.
We wanted to learn a little more about Mimi and her work, so we called her up for the latest installment of the ACareer@HCA Podcast Show. She gives us the inside scoop on what an average day is like in the library, what she does to help clinicians and patients, and advocating for more awareness of what medical librarians do.
